Mission

In our lab, we aim to develop robots that can demonstrate compassionate interaction, allowing them to behave gently and kindly towards people in society.

We are working on the research, development, and social implementation of actuators that enable ‘gently touching’ by delicately adjusting force, mechanisms that allow for ‘tenderly embracing’ others with their entire body, and androids that are capable of ‘kindly engaging’ while accompanying and empathizing with people.

当研究室では，社会の中で「人に優しくふるまえるロボット」の実現を目指しています．

仲田研究室は2021年3月に発足した新しい研究室です．研究室では上記の目標を達成するため，力加減を緻密に調整して「優しく触れる」ことができるアクチュエータ，相手を全身で「優しく受け止める」ことができるメカニズム，そして、人と一緒に行動し相手に寄り添いながら「優しく関わる」ことができる子ども型アンドロイドの研究開発と社会実装に取り組んでいます．
