動くものを食べたとき人は何を感じるか？

「動くものを食べるという行為は，人にどのような感覚をもたらすのか？」という問いを追求するため，私たちは食用素材で構築されたロボットを開発し，動きながら食べる実験を行っています．世界中で食べられるロボットの研究が進んでいる一方で，そのロボットを実際に口にした際の人々の心理や認知に関する調査は行われていませんでした．そこで，食べることを目的とした新たなロボットを製作しました．ゼラチンを使ったこのロボットはリンゴジュースで味付けされ，空気圧によって動きます．

What Do People Feel When They Eat Something That Moves?

To explore the question, “What sensations does the act of eating something that moves evoke in people?”, we have developed robots constructed from edible materials and are conducting experiments where participants eat them while they are still moving. While research on edible robots is advancing worldwide, there has been no investigation into people’s psychology and cognition when they actually consume such robots. Therefore, we created a new robot specifically designed to be eaten. This robot is made from gelatin, flavored with apple juice, and moves using pneumatic pressure.
